Prayer Brings Victory

When I asked God for strength
he gave me difficult situations to face
When I asked God for brain
he gave me puzzle in life to solve
When I asked God for happiness
he showed me some unhappy people
When I asked God for wealth
he showed me how to work hard
When I asked God for favors
he showed me opportunities to work hard
When I asked God for peace
he showed me how to help others
God gave me nothing I wanted
He gave me everything I needed

How To Have A Healthy And Long-Lasting Relationship

In this fast world of mechanical lifestyle, its a challenging task for young couples to manage their long-term relationship. There are a few guidelines which will be helpful in creating a healthy and long-lasting romantic relationship which are as follows.

(i)   We have to be ourselves. A true love will always embrace you in the natural way you are and would not  indulge his or her desires on you.

(ii)   Having an open communication with each other would serve to be a good booster for a healthy relationship.

(iii)  The couple should share their common interests and values. Even if they have diverse preferences, they can participate and encourage each others' interests with mutual understanding.

(iv)   Any pair should stick to the wise saying, "The couple that prays together, stays together" and act accordingly.
(v)   The important two components that ruin most of the relationships are sex and money. It is always vital  to have an early discussion regarding you and your partner's opinion and beliefs in these two factors.

(vi)  Both the partners should be on the same page not allowing any third persons into their relationship.

(vii) Smile and laughter are the basic building tools of any relationship.

With these simple steps, you can find a long-lasting relationship in your life.

How To Avoid Gossip In The Workplace

Gossiping within a workplace usually occurs by targeting a single individual about whom the information is related to. It can be compared to the old 'Telephone" game wherein, a matter which is conveyed by the first person, goes on sharing with each person by person, and finally when reaching the last person, the whole matter gets twisted which becomes false information. Similarly, inside the office, some bits of gossip may be true whereas others may not. However, gossip is a hurtful means of communication which should be avoided to a great extent.

. Some of the ways to avoid workplace gossip are:
(a)   Analysis should be done about the person who starts spreading the  gossip to know their actual intention.
(b)   Evaluation should be done on the information received to make a decision whether  to share it or not.
(c)   You should be the last receiver of the gossip.
(d)   Divert the topic of discussion.
(e)   State straightly to the gossiper that you don't entertain such things.
(f)   Warning the gossiper about the consequences of gossiping inside the workplace.
(g)   Set a good example before others by not participating in such gossip  sessions.
Above all, when you come to know of a gossip about you, be ready to confront the person and ask boldly about the issue.

Lush.....Greeeeeeeeen........Nagercoil......(A place lyk paradise to live in)

Today I feel lyk writing about ma hometown Nagercoil, which is a place with all kinds of natural treasures gifted by Mother Nature and a fantabulous place to live in. As you can see in the above pic, its situated at the southernmost tip of India, surrounded by pleasant water on all sides. Being joined with Tamilnadu in 1956 as a result of fragmentation from Kerala, now Kerala is the nearest neighbour to  Kanyakumari district. And hence, even now, the people from Northern parts of Tamilnadu consider our slang to be a mixture of Malayalam and Tamil.
Here I am sharing some of the awesome beauty elements of Nagercoil(KK dist)

The Clock Tower, situated in the heart of the town (which is more than 100 years old)

Nagaraja temple, from which the town derives its name

Suchindrum Temple

Monsoon clouds in Nagercoil

Hills in Nagercoil

Padmanabapuram Palace

Windmills near the outskirts of Nagercoil

Thirparappu Waterfalls

Kanyakumari beach

St. Francis Xavier's Cathedral

These are only some to mention, but still there are many more attractions in our place to visit and enjoy.

To speak about the climate in Nagercoil, its always so pleasant to stay here, I would say....coz since its location is such that its lined along the Western Ghats, we receive rains from both North-east monsoon and South-west monsoon, as a result of which the weather seems to be always soothing here which I m enjoying right frm my babyhood days....:-) Really to be frank, I would always miss the pleasantness of Ngl only when I go to highly horrible climate areas like Chennai.

Nagercoil is a very good developing area in all fields starting from education, industries, factories to the extent of Multinational Companies. Yes, I m proud to say that small small budding companies are getting established in Ngl which in turn gives sure assurances for the quickest development of ma town.

Oh My God!....The best thing tat I m late to tell abt my place is the food. Here, rice is the staple food, accompanied with fish curry and tasty vegetable cuisines, coz here we add coconut as ingredient for many of the dishes which adds additional flavour to the food. Apart from that, we eat most of the Kerala dishes like appa, puttu, idiyappam and so on along with sidedishes prepared in our style. Moreover, I had to state about the banana chips and Jack Fruit chips without which we can't survive at all........hehehehehe...:-))

The best and foremost feature of Nagercoil and its adjacent areas are the Scenic beauty which can never be seen so beautiful and magnificient in any other parts of Tamilnadu...... and I would say tat I m short of words to describe my heaven's natural beauty which comprises of fields, rivers, ponds, mountains, farm animals which can be said as the golden jewels of Mother Nature.

So, as the proverb goes, "East or west, home is the best", for me too, wherever I go, even abroad, I miss ma hometown Nagercoil because I feel that no place on this earth would substitute such a fabulous place where all comforts are there.

The Hidden Secrets of Household Chores

As soon as I hear the word 'household chores', my face changes to such a reluctant expression and so it changes for most of today's modern girls. But, on the contrary, one acceptable fact is that, doing these home-based mechanical work can greatly help us in maintaining our perfect figure and structure. Though this statement of mine sounds too vague, that is indeed a cent percent true fact. I was just thinking about this when I was cleaning my home today................... About a couple of months ago, I was reading an article in 'The Hindu' stating the importance of doing household chores which in turn acts as a substitute for the gyms which we find in abundance in our areas.

Even though we find it difficult to do our own work at homes, it's indeed a great 'calorie burner' if we do it. I can recollect some of the information tat I read and I'm sharing with you. When we opt to do our own petty works like cleaning our room, placing our things in place or similar works which give work to our physical parts, it itself serve to be as a good exercise tat we do in gyms spending time and money.
While using our mop or broom for cleaning we can just stretch our hips and bent forward and backward which is the same action that's being done using any specialized kind of exercising equipment. Similarly, our wrists and elbow can be toned when giving frequent mechanical work to our hands by cleaning the vessels, refrigerator, dusting the furniture and so on. Ironing is said to be one of the best exercise for our hands. So, by practicing these chores, it yields a dual-benefit where we have given exercise to our body as well as our home sweet home would have become clean and tidy and attractive....Right? Doesn't it sound good"? Similarly, running up and down the stairs for fetching things can cause the excessive sweat to get rid off the body.
The greatest fact is that each and every parts of your body gets toned and shaped in the right way when we work towards it. So, the ultimate point is that, doing household chores is really a positive maker for the health and maintenance of our body and to stay physically fit. Indeed, its more advantageous than the gym counterparts if done seriously. Girlllsssssss.............Get ready to do some household chores and help our mom thus reaping a mutual harvest of a neat clean home and a beautiful slimmmy slimmy body......... I am also going to try it even though not much interested. Happy housekeeping & body maintaining!!!!!!!
